This was the worst customer service by far that I have ever received from start to finish. I made a reservation online, and the following morning was told the truck was not available. No problem, it happens. When I asked what would happen to the charge I made online, was told that they would not charge anything on the account. Good. One week later, received a $50 charge on my account. Called American Rent and spoke to the rudest most abnoxious man I've ever spoken to, who did not let me finish a sentence and in the end said he didn't do anything and to call 800gobudget. Furious with the way I was treated, called the 800 # and was told he did not cancel the reservation as he should have...I guess that's what he meant by not "doing anything." Lazy ass! I have rented party tables/chairs several times over the years at this place, but NO MORE! I will never step foot in this place again. Take it from me go elsewhere...there's a Uhaul in Winnetka (corner of sherman way & winnetka) that's pretty good and very accomodating.
