Review content:
Our snowblower broke in late January and we looked online for a nearby small engine repair shop and Chad's Quality Engine Repair came up. Sounded great, it was local and nearby. That is all it was. His shop had the snowblower until mid April and he started it up when we picked it up and it worked fine. He also did some other repairs to the tune of over $250. Well there was not any snow after April so we did not use it at all after he started it for us when we picked it up. Well fast forward to October 2011 when we decided to get the snowblower out and start it up. It would not start so we took the snowblower back as it has not been used once since we picked it up that day and the issue was with a part he "fixed". After talking to a very beligerent and extremely unfriendly Chad Schaap, we realized how wrong we were in doing business with him. He argued with us and certainly did not stand behind his work. He wanted to charge a diagnostic charge on something he fixed because he after all is not a "non-profit corporation". Needles to say, why would we trust him again if he does not stand behind his first work. We took the snowblower with us, very disappointed and utterly upset. I called to discuss the situation with him and he hung up on me. He will never receive any business from us and we will make sure to tell everyone we know NOT to use him. Horrible customer service!!!
