Review content:
First of all, good luck with your complaints. Hope they are going quite well. Northwest recovery is a legitimate business contracted by the various establishments, be they apartment complexes, hotels, etc. They are contracted to tow people like you who do not follow the rules set forth by the said establishments. When you enter into, for example, a lease agreement with an apartment complex you are agreeing to follow their rules which are set and explained in the lease agreement. They have the right to change these rules at any time. The rules are set by the property management or governing boards, Northwest just enforces those rules. Much the same way a police officer enforces the law. If you break any of these rules you will pay the consequences. Now if you don't belong on the property, such as is the case with a lot of hotels, you will also be towed. For example, there is a bar in Schaumburg, people think they can park at the hotel and walk across the street. At this point you are trespassing. Would you rather be arrested for trespassing and/or have your car taken by the police or would you rather have Northwest tow it to their safe and secure location and have to pay only $150-$170? I think the answer there is pretty obvious. This company has been around for 15+ years now and I don't see them going under at any point in the near or far future thanks to people like you. And by the way, the owners, past and present, do not own any of these properties. Also, good luck avoiding these types of companies. They are very wide spread and do not work together. If you enter just about any parking lot you will see a sign with a tow companies name and information. These are the same types of companies. And, little tip for you, the city of Chicago is even worse, I myself was towed by Lincoln Towing a few years ago for parking at a Walgreens and walking around the corner, fully intending to come right back to Walgreens and shop. But I realize I did not follow their rules. And, no, I do not own nor do I work for Northwest.
