I had been having frequent trouble with my alternator, and knowing that Austin is saturated with auto service shops, the decision was a headache. But once I bit the bullet and took my car into Pro Tech, they got the ball rolling. I left my car there over night and before i even woke up, they were calling me to pick her up. My alternator was still under warranty so I was pleased to see an owed amount of $0.00. Most places would have at least slapped a service charge on for even looking at it. The mechanic did a good job of helping me understand better what was wrong with the car, which was great because I know very little of the actual mechanics. To sum it up, if you want to cut the BS and hidden additional charges, then take your car to Pro Tech Automotive.
