Review content:
I have a 12 year old dog and a 6 month old puppy. The 12 year old have been to three different vets over his lifetime and each one was just ok. The six month old had only been to one vet before. He has had an ongoing issue that I felt like his previous vet wasn't fully addressing. After reading these reviews I made an appointment with Dr. Rebbecchi. It was the best decision I have ever made for my dogs. I was able to get an appointment within a reasonable time. The assistants at the front desk are exceptionally nice, caring and knowledgable. Dr. Rebbecchi's interaction with my dog was like nothing I had seen before. Instead of treating him like an object, he actively played with him and kept him happy as he examined him. He was very thorough but also very quick. Most importantly, he actually LISTENED to me about the pup's symptoms and history and combined with his exam, came up with a plan. His attitude was "we will fix this." He wrote everything out for me as we talked. He told me other possibilities if what he planned didn't work. I walked out of there with 3 different medications and prescription food and still paid less that what I paid at other vets. I live in Center City but I will happily make the drive to the Philadelphia Animal Hospital anytime of one my dogs needs help instead of the many vets in Center City. Pros: Very personable vet and staff, reasonable price, positive attitude, great interaction with animals, great hours
