Review content:
I was in a large pile up on the freeway. Rivers towing came at the request of the police. Rivers is a towing service for AAA, of which I am a member. The driver claimed that he could not accept AAA as it was outside of his regular service area and would accept $125 cash only. I did not have $125 cash but did offer my credit card. The driver was rude & refused, saying cash only or I could sit there. Can't give the man something I don't have. The state trooper finally told the driver he had no choice but to tow us out of the median so they could get the rest of the cars out and get the freeway reopend. The driver did finally do the tow but was incredibly rude and nasty even though we were nothing but nice to him. Rivers was willing to let a freeway remain closed & let about 15 other cars and their owners sit in the 20 degree weather instead of accepting a credit card. I would never purposly call Rivers garage for anything.
