Review content:
I stayed in this hotel in July 2007 during my trip to Yosemite. There aren?t many lodging opportunities in Oakhurst, apparently that's why the hotel owners aren't eager to provide better service. The hotel was full, there were lots of foreign tourists. When I checked in I realized the AC was off in my room so it was impossible to relax after the road trip. It took several hours to cool down the room to the point I could actually stay in it, so we had to spend the evening outside. I mentioned at the lobby that I need the AC to be on tomorrow when I leave for a day, however this was not done. In the morning when I was about to leave to the park I tried to ask a service guy to leave the AC on after the room is done. But he didn?t understand a word. Oh well, I understand that they try to save money on everything, including labor. Perhaps their summer season profits are not enough.
Pros: Parking, location
Cons: Service, rooms, breakfast, staff
