I am not making any medical claims, but I just had my first detox treatment today and was very impressed. I have been under medical infusions for a year and these infusions make me very sick. Kind of like asking if the treatment is worse than the cure, if you know what I mean. Since these treatments are required weekly, I am ill more than I am well it seems and since doctors don't have any suggestions except to stop the treatment which I don't feel is an option, I decided to look for a more supportive way. If these treatments were going to produce a residual toxic result I needed to look for ways to detox.... This salon popped up with a "detox wrap" which I haven't come across as something specific for detoxing so I called and was immediately accomadated. My husband had to drive me and even practically carry me in. I don't remember much about the actual "wrap" except it was so comforting that I fell asleep. I came home and slept all afternoon. But when I woke up, I felt better. I am not even able to describe it to myself, as it is not a climb every mountain kind of feeling. I just don't feel so bad as I did this morning. So, here's the deal. Maybe it won't be the cure for all diseases, but since it is the toxins that seem to be the culprit that weakens man, then this approach at least won't make life any worse. Because of my illness, I don't write many reviews, but really felt this one deserved a thumbs up. Thank you Retreat Day Spa, you're one for my healing book.
