I have a small ebay based business and I ship alot of differant things and I used to trust my shipping to Goin postal and the UPS store. One thing I ship alot of is a Nutritional supplement called Xango. I have shipped atleast 50 boxes of xango in the last year. The reps at going postal have always told me that the factory packaging was acceptable for insurance purposes, and have sold me insurance on every package I have shipped. Well guess what I just had one box get damaged and they are refusing to pay the insuance claim. There reasoning is that it was not packaged properly......... WTF????? I told them that they told me the packaging was fine. Then they came back to say that they "cant help how the ups reps handle packages." Isnt that what insurance was for??? Guess not.... I did have a similar situation with the ups store. I shipped the same items in the same packaging through the same carrier (UPS) but guess what? The UPS store paid the claim!! Like a reputable shipping store would. Bottom line I would NEVER trust them to pack or ship ANYTHING. They seem nice enough till you file a claim! Go to the UPS store its a mile north! The extra time will be well worth it if you ever have a problem!
