Review content:
I had a couple of things I needed to fix. A dresser drawer was sticking and I needed a spare set of keys for my older car. I walked into Ace, expecting the same sort of help (none) I get when I go to Home Depot. I was pleasantly surprised.
They greeted me with a smile and first asked me what I needed. Then I was walked straight to the back of the store for my keys. They had a little trouble making them, as the keys here are still ground by hand and it's quite an art! The manager even walked out to my car with me and made sure that the keys were perfect before I left. This meant several adjustments, but when he was finished the keys were perfect.
I was also told that GULF WAX would fix my sticking drawer problem. I bought some and tried it at home. It worked great! I never would have thought to buy wax if I had not been helped by such great staff.
Bottomline: Leave Home Depot to the experts, for real service go to the little guys at Ace.
