Cheesy/campy fun. We were in South Beach and wanted to get away for a day...so combined this trip with some snorkeling in the keys. I think the Everglades are a must see for everyone. It's a treasure. There are plenty of Everglade tours to choose from, but this place is one of the closest to South Beach and does a great job. The airboat ride is a lot of fun....you'll see plenty of gators big and small, as well as other wildlife...different birds who like to fly into the boat and beg for food, turtles, fish, etc. After starting out slowly to look for gators...the airboat opens up and you get to pick up some speed through some of the canals. It's about 30 minutes long although I'd like it to be longer to explore more of the Everglades. After the boat, you have a short animal show and learn about some of the wildlife in the glades...including a 'alligator wrestling' demo. Don't forget to tip the airboat guide and showman.?
