I used to love the pharmacy service here and actually changed to this Walgreens after trying others, but they have told me they are short staffed over last 4 months and it shows. Twice I've had to wait in line twice to check out in store because I was told they were shortstaffed in pharmacy and couldn't ring up my few non pharm. items. I had to wait in a long line in pharm and then a second long line up front which was never the case and is terribly inconvenient. I am most likely leaving Walgreens altogether now. Also, the phone system which calls when prescription is ready is erratic. Sometimes you get calls and other times you do not and don't find out until you get to pharmacy at time when prescription is supposed to be ready (and again, now wait in long lines) to find out they are out of your medication and you have to go back next day (couldn't an actual person call if med is out if system doesn't do it??). Tried to get a flu shot here and told it would take 2 hours of waiting time also. Went to Homewood store and got it in 15 minutes (in fairness to OF store, the pharm in Homewood did empathize with OF store and said that more ppl need to complain to Walgreens because they are cutting back and pushing employees to do too much all over). Employees are very nice here however:) Really taken a nose dive. hmmmm... Walgreens, here the consistent messages here?
