Review content:
The owner is a smooth talker. As long as you're writing a check, you are his best friend. We paid $250 up front for what we were told was a year worth of fertilizer and pesticide treatments. I clarified and confirmed with him twice that this was for an ENTIRE year. We hired him to mow and edge our lawn for two months at $50/week. He said they would trim hedges and get rid of weeds in flower beds as well. We were out of town. Neighbors said he skipped a week and only did the front lawn one week. The lawn and edging looked nice when we returned but there were weeds in the flower bed and no hedges had been trimmed. We discontinued lawn service upon our return, as we had discussed before we left. We asked him about the skipped week and he got VERY defensive and huffy. From then on, he did not communicate with us. My husband made a point to call and ask about the $250 for a years worth of treatments and he was told "we used all that up in the two months. It would be about $800 for a years worth." We will not be pursuing reimbursement as we just are glad we are done with him. DO NOT give this man your money.
