Businiess name:  Cincinnati Floor Repair

Review content:
I manage a jewelry store in Sharonville. We have a carpet in need of a good re-seem. The market for carpet repair in Cincinnati is minimal at best. After calling three other places who didn't even show up or answer their phone, I found Cincinnati floor repair on city search. I spoke with a man named Lenny. When I explained what I needed done, Lenny was very gung-ho about fixing the carpet and explained there was an $85 "trip charge". At first I was hesitant about paying a "trip charge". But Lenny was a great talker and mentioned it would go to our bill. He told me there were very few jobs he walked away from. Giving him the benefit of the doubt (not to mention the small market for carpet repair), I had Lenny come in to our store. He looked at the carpet, took pictures and said he would load them on his computer and get back to us. Not sure how an image would work better than actually getting hands on with the carpet....Two weeks later, I hadn't heard anything back from Lenny. I called our bank and found out he'd cashed the $85 "trip charge" check. So I decided to call Cincinnati Carpet repair. They returned my call the next day. Only to inform me it would be $1,300.00 to repair it!!!!! I thought that was WAY over bloated, seeing as how we had it repaired six years ago for $200. I understand that the damage may have been more severe this time. However, not $1,100.00 more!! Pros: Lenny was a good talker Cons: Overpriced scam
