As a person in a home with many pets, problems always seem to occur in the middle of the night or on a Sunday. I used the emergency services for many years and was always happy to know there was a place I could take my pets. The staff was always very knowledgable and helpful. Unfortunately I've had to go there twice in the last three months and I was very unhappy with the services I received. I understand that an emergency clinic can be very busy, but the last two times I went the place was not only chaotic but I felt like the people helping me didn't know what they were doing. On my second to last visit, a staff member commented that there had been a change of ownership recently. On my last visit I had to hospitalize my cat overnight. I was reluctant to leave him because I felt like the technician that was talking to me about what the doctors plan was really didn't know. This staff member couldn't really answer my questions and made no attempt to find out for me. The next morning, I had to pick my cat up and go to my regular vet for follow-up care. A record got faxed so my vet knew what happened with my cat. When I talked to my vet, he seemed very confused by the information given to him and told me that from that information it looked as if medications were not given that should have been. I'm not sure what is going on there but if (or when) I have another pet emergency, I'll probably try one of the twenty four hour clinics in Cincinnati. Pros: null Cons: null
