I am very dissatisfied and dissappointed with the way I was handled on the phone, when trying to speak to the owner or the person (their son) involved with an issue of honoring a discount to my wife. The person answering the phone claim to be the manager and refused to let me speak to the people that I asked to speak to. She instead kept cutting me off as I tried to explain our dilemna and continuously refused my request to speak to someone else. She even made unprofessional snide remarks about the discount not worth it, and the numbers of times we have called to speak about this (this was my first time) and I have yet to speak to the people that I called for. We were offered a discount when we were in the store Saturday. My wife was uncertain about the quality since it was a leather blend and not 100%, plus we wanted to secure a means of transporting it home (we live in SC-two hours away). When she inquired Monday, the son told her, that the discounts were only for the weekend. After my wife explained that she did not know this, and could he still make an exception, he agreed. By the time we could call around and find a place with a trailer rental, it was too late to travel. So my wife waited til Wednesday(just 2 days later) when she had a 1/2 day off from work to confirm that the item was still there and the discount would be honored, my was told that the discount was no longer available. She ask me to call to see if I could help, since she had her heart set on purchasing it. I didnt think that was fair to rescind on the discount (just because two days had pass, considering the fact tha we had to travel so far, purchase a rental trailer, and not to mention we were looking to spend $800-$1,000 with this purchase--which we thought was over-priced to begin with). The problem I have now is that the person answering the phone was very unprofessional and unconcerned, to not even hear me out. She had already a preconceived disposition to the situation (since she said the son had already talked to her about it), that she was not willing to sympathize, nor allow me to speak to someone that may have. At this point, it was not wether we got the discount, because we would have probably went ahead since my wife wanted it even without the discount; the fact that our concerns was not atleast heard, or handled properly, and the rudeness in the young lady on the phone, made the disappointment the more dissatisfying. Without qaulity customer service, a business will eventually fail. Without professional problem solvers, a problem will only get worse, in the hands of a person who could care less about a solution or the outcome overall--satisfying customers, the real bosses, who actually governs the payroll. Pros: null Cons: null
