Businiess name:  Smoky Hill Veterinary Clinic

Review content:
I've used Smoky Hill Vet Clinic for quite some time and for the basics like vaccinations, spay and neuter, heartworm testing and medication they are great, but if your dog or cat is sick and it isn't absolutely obvious what is wrong, go somewhere else. I have decided to leave the clinic after they repeatedly misdiagnosed or failed to diagnose potentially life threatening conditions in my dogs. In virtually every case, I have dropped several hundred at Smoky Hill only to have to go to Alameda East or the VRCC in the end to get my dog diagnosed properly and cured. Don't get me wrong, I do think the vets at Smoky Hill are caring - they just tend to be inexperienced (the best ones have tended to leave after 6 months to a year) and not have access to necessary diagnostic equipment. Dr. Mueller who owns the clinic is quite nice and experienced but he is almost always on-call seeing horses outside the clinic. Pros: Good for vaccines and basic care Cons: Relatively inexperienced vets, high turnover of vets and office staff
