I had Comfort Control come out because my furnace wasn't working correctly. After an hour and $85 the tech told me he couldn't figure out what was wrong but suggested that we talk to a sales person to get a quote. The sales guy came out and quoted us $5665 for an Amana 2 stage furnace. He was very pushy and even said that we needed to decide right away because the costs were going up at the end of the month. The following Monday my furnace stopped working again and I decided to call a different company to get a quote and much to my surprise the quote was $3500 less than what Comfort Control quoted just 3 days prior. The unit was made by Goodman which is the parent company to Amana and is also a 2 stage furnace and was 70,000 BTU vs 45,000 BTU that Comfort Control quoted. Not only did the other company quote me a great rate they also knew what was wrong with my current furnace in less than a minute. Obviously I went with the other guy who was not pushy at all and had my new furnace installed the next morning. I don't know how Comfort Control can justify selling their units at such inflated prices and claim to have their customers best interest in mind. I will never use Comfort Control again. I was suckered once by them when I bought my AC for $5000. Which btw the other company has for $1500. I wish I would have called 1st Choice Heating in the first place. Pros: null Cons: null
