Review content:
It's unfortunate the last two comments might leave a reader with a bad impression of Monteauxs. I have to say I have never in the handful of times I patroned the restaurant, had bad service. From the moment I walk in the door to when I leave I have always felt more than welcome. The severs are always smiling, chatting amongst each other and with costumers ... all customers. This is one of many reasons I come here; the waitstaff genuinely seems to like their job. The food of course is the other reasons. It's good, simple as that. Granted I haven't had all the menu items, but what I have tried is superb. Where else in suberbia will you find good pub food? Certaintly not at ..... If you have never been and decided to read some reviews first, which is something I do often, give Monteaux's a chance. You won't be dissapointed.
Pros: Not a chain, happy hour, great service
Cons: can be too dark inside at night
