Businiess name:  Ba Sho Japanese Restaurant
Review by:  citysearch c.
Review content:
I do like BaSho's but there are a few things that knock it down from a 5. The first are the lack of any lunch hours (dinner only.) There is also a lack of good Hiyayako, she said they didn't HAVE any? The last thing that can be annoying is the fact that they have a TV which they put on public channels to watch things like Jeopardy etc during the meal (I prefer no TV while I eat thanks.) The "mean hostess" that you see in other posts doesn't apply any longer because the former "Obaa-san" has sold the restaurant to another person; this however did not affect the food quality which is one of the best in the area. If you're looking for #1 service, food choice and can bear a slightly higher price, I'd head to Sushi Bistro Masa (though it's not quite as authentic feeling as BaSho because of the newer decor and a few menu items.) Pros: Food, price Cons: television, selection
