I took my truck to Fresh Start to have the engine steam cleaned prior to service work to chase an oil leak. Their work was just what I needed but when I picked up the truck and started it all the warning lights came on and there was a lingering smell of burning electrical components coming from the engine compartment. Jason discussed how rare this was and my options. I was already taking it to have it serviced so I limped it over to the shop disgusted and disappointed but with a clean engine. They identified that water had gotten in the alternator during the cleaning and fried it. Before I could even call Jason he was on the phone calling me to check if I'd found out what happened. He asked for the name and number of the shop and he called them and paid for replacement of the alternator !!!!! Not just for a new one but for the service time to replace it too. Needless to say this cost more than I had even paid for the engine cleaning.
