Review content:
The owner and I agreed upon $150 for my car to get detailed. I specifically asked him before leaving if I needed to sign anything or pay him upfront. He said no. When I went to pick up my car his employee said my total was $250. He stated that it was weird that his boss did not have me sign the slip that stated the amount because it was standard procedure to do so. I had him call the owner who then told me that there were only two ways to get my car off the lot. My options were to call the police or pay the entire amount. He also stated that he typically has people sign the payment slip before dropping their keys off. Since my mom was standing next to me and was insisting that she would pay for me, I stepped left and paid the amount rather than calling the police.
