I also recently moved to Mebane, and got suckered into taking not one but two cars there to be absolutely ruined! They couldn't make the cruise control in my Volvo work at the same time as the A/C (WTF? A Volvo certified mechanic told me that it was the dumbest thing he has ever heard.) and they TOTALLED my Volkswagen. We took the Passat in for routine maintenance on the turbo, and when I got it back, I barely even got down the street before it started making HORRIBLE SQUEALING NOISES. Never heard that before. I took it back, they told us they must have crossed a wire, held on to it for 2 more weeks, and of course, I get it back...still doing the same thing. It got so bad, that I eventually sold the car. It broke down shortly after that. They are not cheap, the customer service department (HA! Like 1 person!) is ignorant and careless, and the mechanics don't know anything about automobiles! Don't even consider taking a car here, unless you're warming up for the demolition derby! Even then...
Pros: They have hilarious accents, I like laughing at the bumpkins that pull into the parking lot.
Cons: They aren't out of business yet.
