Review content:
I recently took my little dog Jack to VCA Mission Viejo animal hospital. Jack is my beloved 5 year old 4lbd yorkie mix. I took him in to get 13 teeth removed a big enough surgery for such a little guy to handle on its own. When i picked him up i noticed wounds on his abdominal area. I took him back to the vet and was told that they had 'accidently' left heating pads on him during surgery. My little dog had 2nd and 3rd degree burns on 10% of his little body. How long do you have to leave a hot heating pad on a dog with no protection before 2nd and 3rd degree wounds are produced? It has been a horrifying experience to say the least. He isn't out of the woods yet but he is getting better every day. I will never go back to VCA Mission Viejo Animal Hospital again. I hope you dont either!
