I used to do my own taxes using a popular online product, as it turns out...I suck at taxes It's this simple, taxes are more than entry into a form. Taxes, what a miserable thing: sorting paperwork, tracking down invoices and expenses, figuring out mileage, trying to categorize items... whats tax deductible? What category? I even went for three years without filing my taxes simply because I was afraid I was going to have to pay money to the IRS I didn't have. And once you skip a year they just stack up on you. I was overwhelmed and I was embarrassed to even bring my tax problem to a long-time friend who knew to be an excellent tax expert.
I've known Joe Zuniga of Tax Hero for ten years; he reached out to me and helped me dive into a problem even I didn't want to fix. Joe's intelligence and knowledge, eagerness and willingness to help are indescribable. I've saved thousands of dollars because of his ability to reach into my world and just "know" the right questions to ask to make sure that I'm getting every-possible deduction.
