I have been seeing Dr. Ingram at H&W for several years, and have never had any issues until this latest visit. I am usually seen by the doc & walking to my car within 1.5 hours, but this time spent longer than that sitting in the waiting room. Once I was finally called back (urine specimen + finger stick) I had to wait because there were several others ahead of me in line. This has never happened before. After that, I returned to the waiting room for another 20 minutes. When I was called back to see the doc, everything was so fast-paced I could almost feel my head spin! Within 5 minutes I had stripped down, had my bp taken, and the doc was writing my refill scripts. I was made to feel like I was inconveniencing her by asking questions about changing my ocp to generic, and questioning the pill she wanted to put me on. (I guess I should mention that I'm a nurse, and I know a little bit about the profession.) During my "checking out" time, the entire front office staff was too busy looking at someone's baby pictures to take my co-pay, so I waited a good 10 minutes there as well. It seemed a bit ridiculous to me. I spent a grand total of 10 minutes actually seeing the doctor. 10 minutes that I waited almost 2 hours for!? Is it worth it to me to continue my care here? Probably not.
