We wanted to share with everyone, the great experience we had at Birchwood. Our daughter and son-in-law had their wedding reception there in June, 2011. We had pretty much made up our minds already when we decided to check one last place....Birchwood. Thank goodness we did. From the moment we walked in and met Tony, the owner, we felt like we had found the perfect place. He's easy going, fun, and very accomodating. The venue is large, with lots of room between tables. We had 36 tables, about 350 people, and never once did anyone feel crowded. There were 2 bars in use that night, and there was never a wait for a drink. The bartenders were phenomenal! The food was fantastic, and there was a ton of it! We had Astorhurst Chicken, lasagna and roast beef. People raved about it. The platters of food that were brought to the head table were beautifully garnished. The dessert tables were amazing as well. It just kept coming, and coming and coming. I really cannot say enough about the food at Birchwood, it was awesome. The price per person is unbeatable. Awesome value. All of the servers were quick, professional and attentive. Our water glasses, coffee, etc. were always taken care of quickly. It seemed like they knew what we needed, before we knew what we needed! A+++ service all the way! They did a good job of cutting the cake and boxing it up as well. At the end of the night, they gathered all of our centerpieces, etc. and boxed them all up for us. What a help! We returned the next moring to pick everything up, including all the leftovers. We could have had another wedding with all the food we took home! It was nice to not have to drag all that stuff home the night of wedding. We really appreciated being able to come back the next day for it. I honestly don't know why anyone would go anywhere else. I wish we had another daughter so we could do it all again! It's easy to get to, and they will do anything to make your event exactly what you want. We wish we had another daughter so we could do it all again at Birchwood. Thank you Tony, and the entire staff at Birchwood for the wonderful night! Pros: null Cons: null
