My move from CO to Tx has been a total nightmare. They have kept my belongings hostage since Feb. I had a binding estimate and after loading my belonging in which some I had told them not to load they loaded anyway they then stated that I had to pay extra .53 per lb over the amount of quote. or he would not give me my belongings I stated several times to remove the boxes from the garage that he loaded that he wasn't supposed to he refused. He stated that it may be $200.00 over not more then that. I initialed the bill as at that moment he was holding my belongings hostage. He never gave me an inventory list He had loaded a trailer in Fruita CO before he came to our house. Our belongings were loaded on that trailer. He never called me back I finally called him and he informed me that I now owed $3000.00 more and he had a weight slip from Gallup NM On the 29th of January ASAP Moving tried to take 28400.39 out of my bank account. I had canceled my credit card the day before or he would have walked with all of my money. He did wipe out my bank account. The man refused to give me my belongings he now wants $%260.00 a month for storage and $400.00 to load and take my belongings to a storage unit I no longer have and if he take it to my house he wants $25.00 per mile extra to deliver my belongings He now wants an additional $4000.00 and he wants me to pay him before he brings my belongings Which are photos of my sons which one passed away and I have no pictures of him any more My other sons baby pictures my husband has cancer and he is holding all of my husbands medical records so I can get him the correct treatment. I have called numerous times to get a correct weight slip and inventory list and the pictures that the mover said he took. All that were packed were boxes and he took some things that meant nothing and didn't take what I wanted him to. All in all he has lied to us he has been uncooperitive a nightmare experence for me and my husband he also has my breathing machine and if I have an asthma attack it could become life or death he is plying with people health I don't feel any one else should go through what I went through. I may never get my stuff back but he knows what he has done and in the end he will get what he deserves.
