I just had my surgery April 10 09. The facility is nice and the staff is friendly but they failed to mention before the surgery that I would have to undergo a second surgery to give me the vision I desired. Well the surgeon had problems just putting the eyelid clamp on my left eye and mid-procedure had to stop the laser and reclamp me. This was the scariest experience I have ever been through and truly believe that I was not a candidate for Lasik (I have very high astigmatism). I believe they just wanted my money without considering if this procedure was right for my strong prescription. They want me to schedule my second surgery in 3 months, but I highly doubt I will risk my eye sight again. Right now my vision is blurry when I look at anything further than a 6feet range and I feel naucious at times from just looking around. I look like a vampire because in both of my eyes I have broken vessels that will not go away for a long time (I have to celebrate my birthday looking like this in Vegas this coming weekend.) I am very unhappy with my results. You will take a big risk no matter what doctor you choose for your LASIK, but I know for sure that this surgeon was not up to par with my expectations. I personally would have stayed with contacts if I knew this would happen. I don't want to advise everyone that this is not the place to go for LASIK because my father had his done a week and a half before me and he is absolutely thrilled with his results (he does not have astigmatism like me). PLEASE BE AWARE THAT LASIK IS NOT GAURANTEED, IT'S MORE LIKE A GAMBLE.
