Review content:
I have been a drummer for 22 years, playing in a professional capacity for the past 15. Within the last 3 years I had begun to develop early signs of carpel tunnel syndrome - weakened grip in my right hand, pain in my wrists and elbows, and occasional numbness in my fingers. I had also developed discomfort in my middle back and hips. The care provided by Dr Meylor - via both chiropractic adjustments and a consultation regarding methods by which to physiologically alter my playing technique - has been invaluable in allowing me to continue to play music both live and in the studio. After only one consultation and three adjustment-visits, I felt improvement in my range of motion, my grip, and my pain was completely alleviated without medication or surgical intervention of any kind. Based on Dr Meylor's recommendations, I have adjusted my instrument's setup, and now am able to consistently play sessions of 4 to 5 hours without pain while performing - or on the morning after. I continue to visit Dr Meylor on a semi-regular, as-needed basis, and have experienced no further deterioration in my condition, and continue to enjoy performing and recording. I highly recommend Dr Meylor to any musicians in need of care as a result of their playing. His personal attention, consideration of my specialized needs as a musician, and the quality of care provided have produced exemplary non-invasive results.
