Review content:
Hi, my name is Dennis Stanton and 17 years ago I was told that I had Epilepsy after an accident in the Navy while serving in the Gulf War. I had 20 - 30 Seizures a day and wasn't able to do the things that I once did. I took loads of Medications that hindered my lifestyle. I wasn't permitted to drive a car, or go swimming with my friends... I was told not to go out hiking or walking alone. I wasn't permitted to work anywhere and after 6 years of fighting finally began to receive Disability pay. When I can to NC it was with the intent of getting a surgery to stop my Seizures... I spent 7 days at Baptist Hospital undergoing a series of testing. At the end of the 7 days they told me that my Seizure were not a result of Epilepsy, but rather a pinched nerve in my neck and back. They told me to STOP taking the Medications as they were only making things worst. Then my Dr.'s suggested that I find a Chiropractor. I have a friend here in Greensboro who suggested Dr. Meylor and I went to see him. He didn't promise me anything more than just simply trying to make things better... I have been seeing Dr. Meylor since December 09 and haven't had Seizure since Jan. '10. I have gotten my life back! I bought a new Scooter 8 weeks ago and have put over 3600 miles on it. I have gone back to work and will soon no longer be on Disability. I can go swimming, and bike riding and hiking and, and , and... The only limitations that I have now is the time to do all the things that I want to do... some day's I think that there aren't enough hours in the day. I have been to the Mountains and climbed to the top of the ridge (an hour & a half to the peek). Gone Exploring the Parkway, drove my Scooter to Hanging Rock & Pilot Mountain, rode to Southern Pines for a Conference. All these things and not one seizure... and best of all I am never concerned that I will have one. I know that If I take care of myself and continue to see Dr. Meylor to get adjusted, it will keep the pressure off that pinched nerve and I won't have any Seizures! And best of all in less than a month I will be able to get a license again. I have already decided to get a Brand new Smart Car. Dr. Meylor has given me the ability to Live my Life once more.... If you have Seizures then you know how hard it can be to just life and love your life, to get around and do the things that you want to do. I would ask that you give Dr. Meylor a chance to help you... and maybe you too will get the Freedom that I have gotten. Pros: Seizures
