I don't usually do a lot of online reviewing, but was just curious about reading the reviews for my vet. I was motivated to write when I saw that people were complaining about the prices here. I happened upon this vet, by coincidence... (My dog gets car sick and I needed a place that was within an 1 hour walk from my house) I had been going to a chain type vet clinic that had moved locations. I was pleasantly surprised to find Dr. Wheaton and Dr. Forman. The have both been great. They are both very kind and do a great job of explaining things carefully, so there is no confusion. They also take time to be thorough with the animals, which is nice... When I was in with the vet on my first visit, my Mother was waiting in the reception area. Later she told me that while she was waiting she had received GLOWING reviews about Dr. Wheaton from the other people who had been coming there for a while. I was happy that I had stumbled upon a great vet and have had nothing but great care ever since. As for the COST. I found that in general, I spend less on my visits there than I ever did at the Chain clinic. Perhaps some things might be a bit more expensive, but overall the superior care is well worth it. Medications are never cheapest at vet's offices, but there are other options for that...
