I am a frequent traveler for both work and play. I enjoyed the easy online booking and welcoming and friendly front desk staff. I normally use Marriott or Hilton but due to why and when I was visiting the Sacto area I chose this Holiday Inn Express. It is very close to Mercy General Hospital and local eateries. I enjoyed in the lobby and fitness room easy access to bottled/filtered water which I refilled my Kleen Kanteen during my stay of 2 nights. The breakfast in the morning is cooked to order, very tasty and abundunt. The entire facility is updated and clean. Being located downtown not once did I feel the facility was dangerous or lacking in security. I will definitely return to this Holiday Inn Express.
