Review content:
We are animal lovers to the extreme. we have 7 dogs, 4 cats, 10 cockatiels, 5 holland lopeared rabbits, and hamsters too. Dr Zettler has just purchased Westside Animal Hospital.I knew Dr. Zettler from another animal hospital in the area, and after meeting him we traveled across town to have him as our vet, and for him to be so much closer to our home is a blessing. We have moved our 'kids' to his new place. We are looking forward to continue taking our critters to see him. Dr. Z is so gentle and loving to the animals, he pets them, loves them and talks to them, before, during and after treating them. My Sissy Wissy dog who hated men touching her with 2 hands was won over by Dr. Z after he spent time with her talking to her, comforting her and assuring her that he was going to help her. When it was time to put her to sleep as her since her cancer became too widespread for treatment,I was the last appt of the day. He came into the room with me, reminded me of all the care we had given her in the years I had her. We shared stories about her as I held her as she went into a deep sleep. She had to be put to sleep in a different way as she had so much internal bleeding, there wasn't a good vein for the procedure. So Dr. Z sedated her through her muscle and let her go into a coma in my arms, when I was ready he gently took her away from me to let her finish her journey over the rainbow bridge. Not only was all that very special to me, but 1 week later,I received a sympathy card, not the one that the office personnel sign, but one that Dr Z first personally wrote some very precious words to ease my pain. I have never had a vet do that before. Dr. Z will make a great asset to this office andI know that this office and other vets will share his genuine love and concern for your 'kids' too, As long as Dr Z is practicing we will remain his loyal clients and our 'kids' will see him their entire lives. Good luck Dr. Z. S and D Murray and their 'kids' Pros: Dr Zettler now owns it and he is a blessing to 'kids' and owners alike Cons: i wish they made appointments
