Review content:
Since the middle of November of 2011 at least 5 cars have been broken into (either theft or criminal damaging). I have been a member for less than a year and did not know of this excessive criminal activity. Had I known, I would not have joined this facility. The parking lot is secluded and there are no outside security cameras, so it makes it a perfect target for criminal activity. At this point I am scared for my personal safety. I brought my concerns to the attention of the general manager who admitted that at least 10 break-ins incurred in a period of less than one year, but I received no assurances that a security system would be installed or any other security measures such as a gate that could be only activated with a membership card were in the works. I was told to park in plain sight of the entrance door, walk in and out of the club while other members were doing the same and leave nothing in the car. Unfortunately, this does not sound to me like the club and its parent company Corporex are concerned about the safety of its club members. In my opinion, there is always the chance that the criminal behavior advances to assault and robbery and where does that leave unsuspecting members who like me have not been warned. I am very disappointed with this apparent lack of concern for the members and I highly doubt that I will stay a member once my year is up.
