Review content:
I recently visited this restaurant with anticipation that it was going to be something GREAT, since it was featured on Chicago's Best. I was highly disappointed. I ordered the BBQ pulled pork sandwich. On the menu is states that it is cooked for over 12 hours, blah blah blah...but, when I received it, it was nothing to brag about; dry and tough. They could have put more bbq sauce on it too. Yes, I could have put some more on myself, but considering the nastiness of the shelves of bbq sauce bottles I wouldn't have dared to use them. They definitely need to clean those up if they expect their customers to use them. I go to school down in S. Illinois and have visited a bbq place (featured on the Food Network, 17th St. Bar & Grill) in a very small town and received some of the best bbq I have every had! I would not recommend wasting the money to go to Uncle Bub's when you can get better at the local chain restaurants. Although the staff was very friendly, I won't be coming back to this place. It was very unsatisfying and for the money you definitely don't get the amount or quality of food you should. Don't bother!
