We saw Uncle Bub's BBQ featured on Chicago's Best and decided to give it a try. Boy, were we disappointed! There were 5 of us in our party and not one of us would return. The pulled pork was terrible. Dry, burnt pieces mixed in with just more dry pork. The baked beans were too sweet and saucy. The cornbread was tasteless and didn't taste like cornbread at all. Just tasted like nothing at all. The fried mac and cheese balls were just kind of gross. However, the fries were actually pretty good. One person in our party had a 1/2 lb. burger and it was nothing special. Just a burger. The bottles of bbq sauces were disgusting. They need to be wiped off. The openings of the bottles were all gooped up and clogged. Very unappetizing. A lot of money for not very much food. We all left unsatisfied. We didn't bother having any of the desserts. This place kind of made us all feel like throwing up when got out of there. I must say, though, that the staff was very friendly. This bbq is by far some of the worst we have ever eaten. The Patio has much better pulled pork and much better quality.
