Please stay away from Wyatt Patenotte and any company or anyone associated with him. We hired Patenotte to build our In ground Pool over 2 years ago and should have know things were going to go wrong when they dug it out and didn't even have the size correct. Once the concrete/gunite was formed and the plumbing put in we noticed the water spouts were not put in flush & of course were told that would be fixed later. Also, the 2 main fountains were not lined up correctly and were off center. Measuring seems to be a recurring problem with anything he does. Next came the tile & coping...we had to find it ourselves because on 3 different occasions we picked out coping he showed us then weeks later he told us it was unavailable. We went directly to the supplier in New Orleans and were able to order it. They told us to be sure it was sealed otherwise it would eventually be damaged by our salt water. We told Patenotte who said he had never heard of that. We made him call the distributor and they verified that it needed to be sealed and he reluctantly did seal our tile. After the tile was placed and before the pool was finished we began to have cracking on the grout and the coping tile being loose in spots. Patenotte said everything was finished and that that was just touch up work that his tile guys could come back and finish in a few weeks when they were back in town. To say the least, we are still waiting for our pool to be completed and have had other mechanical issues arise that we have had to handle ourselves because Patenotte will tell you what you want to hear when he is on the phone and then you never see or hear from him again. I would most definitely recommend that you stay away from Wyatt Patenotte or anyone associated with his company.
