This was my first leg and bikini wax in the US and was not particularly happy about the fact that they couldn't give me an exact quote - it depends how hairy you are! What they were quoting was very high compared to European prices, but I was desperate. They were very friendly, but the girl who waxed me had only been doing it four months, and it took twice as long than it usually does, and my legs were covered in wax when I left. It was very hot, the fan did not cool the room down, the window didn't open, none of which made the job any easier. Not only this, she missed a lot of hair and I had to go over it the next day with strip wax. Not being familiar with tipping, I felt obliged to pay the 15% and, being European, forgot about the tax, so was pretty annoyed at having to fork out $120 for a very bad job.
