Review content:
Applied for a veterinary assistant position (I have over 4 years as a volunteer at the animal humane society, over 2 years as kennel assistant, am a vet tech student). Left 4 messages to check the status. They never called back. When I did get someone, they so rudely told me that I "didn't make the cut" that they were onto their second interviews (funny, their ad was posted for a second time on craigslist on 3/2 and the first one was 2/27). When i read the bios of their vet assistant staff, I have at least the same amount of experience as the ones listed if not more since a lot of them are in college pursuing degrees in something other than vet med or vet tech. If they treat people that rudely on the phone, would hate to see what they do to people in person. Wouldn't take my animals there, they act like they are so much better than anyone else.
