Businiess name:  Giant Eagle Supermarket

Review content:
I've shopped at this Giant Eagle for years, but lately I've noticed a trend on sales items. In the past three months there have been three mistakes on my receipt, all having to do with Sale items. Giant Eagle will supposedly give you an item free if they make a mistake on an item, but this is not true. I found a mistake on a meat item, brought it to their attention only to be told that the stock person had mistakenly placed the wrong items in the sales bin, and therefore they would not give me the item free. The last two times that I have purchased beer that was on sale, the price was incorrect. State law prohibits them from giving you an alcoholic item for free, but when you are given the price difference ,it is in a gift card not cash. So watch your sales items, It,s a pattern that Ive noticed that alcoholic beverages have that most mistakes.I wonder how many people are being over-charged and not noticing it until it's too late?
