I don't even know where to begin, but we lived here for a year. When we moved in all was great and wonderful. Then about 2 months later the management company changed and the office staff was all replaced. This is where is started to go downhill. The new office staff was rude and would ignore you when you came into the office. Phone calls for maintenance requests would be short and never written down. Written Maintenance requests would go ignored as well. Basically nothing ever got fixed. I had a flooded kitchen and leak for about 7 months out of the 12 months we lived here. The dishwasher was always broken, insects infested the place due to no pest control. WE finally had to go buy stuff and spray ourselves to rid ourselves of the pests. The swimming pool (right outside my door) was dark green, gross and full of things that would get thrown in. Breeding ground for mosquitoes. Now the worst part about living here is the fact that we went the entire month of May and part of June (hot summer) with NO AC. NO AC and I had a newborn. It was so hot and awful and they kept giving us the run around about repairs. Finally we threatened legal action and they "fixed" it. It worked for 6 days and broke again. Then they finally replaced it. During this time we learned our neighbors had been without electricity for months because the maintenance crew had broken their meter and refused to fix it and our neighbors couldn't afford the repairs. Why should they pay to fix something the apartment had broken? This truly is an AWFUL place to live and should only be done if you truly have no other options. The crime rate here is high as well and there is lots of illegal activity going on. Not a safe or comfortable place to live at all and we are so glad to be gone.
