Review content:
I called this company on 9/14/2012. I told her I had a torsion spring broken and wanted to get an estimate of what it would cost. She told me $29.99 service charge. I then asked the woman, "what is the lowest price for the springs and the highest price?". I specifically asked this question because I, of course, have done my homework and knew about what the range was. She said, "Between $69 and $119.". I then asked about the 100,000 cycle springs and if they offered those and if that price was included in the range she gave me. She just repeated what the range was and said that I could speak to the installer who would be calling me right back. I told her that I would try and get the size for him. My skepticism made me ask again again what the service charge is and she repeated, $29.99. I said specifically, "There MUST be a labor charge, right?", she said, "Nope. It's just 29.99 for the service charge!". You probably can guess the rest of what happened but I'll tell you anyway!! I gave the woman my address and phone number and she said, "The service tech would be calling me back within 10 minutes.". Literally 10 seconds later my phone rang. It was another woman asking if I called and wanted service. I said, "Yes.". Then I asked if they had the springs I their truck when they would come for service, she said they had all different kinds. I hung up. The service guys show up, look at my springs, and give me a price of $95 per spring. I say, "so about $230? He says, well no, there's a $150 labor fee. So about $370, I asked. "Yes.", he said. I told him what the woman on the phone had said, he said, "it doesn't matter if you call them, that's what it is! Of course, I call anyway. Not the same woman, of course, and I repeat everything I was told before the service call! The woman said, "Do you want our service or not?". I told the service guys to get out. They came back though & offered $279. I still did I t bite. Just read the reviews and b careful. The reviews are all 5 stars and from the OWNER! Don't be fooled!
