This is primarily a rebuttal of Melissa's review. In the past, yes, the zoo was in very poor condition. It rightfully got shut down by the state several years ago. However, 2 years ago new owners came in and bought it and have completely renovated the zoo. It is completely different now (just read any recent reviews for yourself!)!. The staff is friendly and the animals are now happy. So just take any reviews from more than 2 years ago with a grain of salt. They were reviewing a completely different zoo!!
