Last Sunday, June 26, 2011, 41 children, youth and adults traveled from Las Vegas, NV to Oakhurst, CA to attend a week of church summer camp. This is a trip we make every year but it was the first year we contracted with Divine Charter (VIPRide.com) to provide the transportation. Troy S.was the assigned bus driver. He arrived early and was ready and waiting in the church parking lot before anyone from our group was there. The bus was very clean, well equipped and ready for passengers. Troy was friendly, helpful and patient as the campers arrived, loaded luggage and then loaded the bus themselves. We departed 5 minutes early and had a great, safe trip to camp.
In years past, we have had busses arrive late, not know where they are going, get lost, have broken equipment, and even a bus or two break down on the way, and we have often arrived hours late. We have had unfriendly and even rude drivers. I am happy to say that our experience this year included none of these. We had a wonderful trip to camp and even arrived early. Thank you to both Divine Charter and Troy Schwing for such a pleasant trip!
