Review content:
I have not seen a dentist in over 5 years because of a bad experience i had with my last dentist pulling my tooth. I was trembling in the waiting room just writing up my info. Perry was so helpful and made me feel comfortable offering me a magazine to relax before meeting Dr. MacFarlane. Christina, his assistant, introduced herself and brought me into the room. She immediately started talking with me and asking me things about myself that got me to relax. I did not realize it was the doctors daughter till she told me. She made me laugh when she told me that my dad won't bite he has no teeth. She was only kidding of course. When Dr. MacFarlane came in he was very cheerful. He grabbed my hand and patted me on the shoulder like I was an old buddy of his. He talked with me for 5 minutes and asked me alot of questions about myself, both personal and dental, to get to know me before he started. That made my anxiety level drop tremendously. I told him I was embarrassed for him to look in my mouth because I knew I had some pretty messed up teeth. He made me laugh when he said "well then take off your shoes and I'll check your toes". Comic Relief. He promised me that if he saw something that he knew would hurt if he probed it that he would just rely on the xrays he had to take. No pain inflicted so he kept his word. He took a whole set of xrays around my mouth with a digital xray piece. After that he reviewed the xrays and sat with me to talk about what he saw.. Man there was alot to do but he made it sound so simple. He showed me on his large flat screen TV my xrays and where the problems were. He then played some animated videos showing what I had and how it can be fixed. I asked him the costs but he told me he would schedule another visit with me at my convenience after he put my treatment work together with all the fees. He told me that they have payment options including financing plans. I have my next appointment next week. I wish I saw this doctor long ago. I trust him because he cared about ME! Thanks Doc!!!
