Review content:
My husband and I chose Homefix Corporation to replace the windows on the front of our home. I found them when searching online for contractors in our area. My husband knew of a Homefix in Wisconsin, and initially he told me to stay the hell away from Homefix , so we researched some other companies. Long story short, when we were talking about their horrible reviews online, a friend that lives nearby said that Homefix had actually replaced his roof a few years back. He said that he too had seen the negative remarks, but that the Homefix in Virginia was a small company that unfortunately was mixed up due to having the same name as a few other Homefixes. He said he didn t have a problem and that his roof was installed in only a few hours.
So I went with Homefix, and I have to say, even though my husband and I were a little hesitant, the good word of our friend convinced us to at least see what they had to offer. We chose double pane windows, with one larger one by the front door, and I am actually amazed at how fast and easy it was. They sent 4 guys for the job, and the windows were installed in about 3 hours or so. They do have a slight tint at certain angles, but I m told by my husband that is normal for energy efficient brands, so it isn t a big deal to me. I LOVE the fact that they tilt in so I can clean them when there is a lot of pollen, and that they lock automatically when I close them. Other than that, I mean, they are windows, but I had a nice experience with Homefix of Virginia and I would definitely choose them again.
