I recommend Metal Roofing Systems all of the time. Their product is the best roof you can put on your house. It is guaranteed for 50 years, which does not mean it could not last even longer.
I had them do my daughter's house first, and then I had them do mine. I was doing a home addition and I just decided to keep going and put a metal roof on, too.
It has been about 2 years since they installed the roof. We have had hail and you would not even know it.
Working with Metal Roofing Systems was great. Even before they put the metal down, they did a fantastic job on the underlay.
I have only heard heavy rain on the roof when I am in the part of my house that has a lofted ceiling and no attic as a sound barrier. Even then, the sound is actually pretty subdued.
Overall, I feel that their product is wonderful. While it may be one of the most expensive roofs you can put on your house, it is definitely the least destructible.
It is not flat like stainless steel -- it has ripples -- so if there was a dent, it would not be noticeable. Also, it is not going to chip.
In addition to the fantastic roof installation, the thing that most impressed me about Metal Roofing Systems was the way that the workers cleaned up after themselves. They took all of their junk home and did not leave any scraps in the yard. This was a big deal to me because I had so many workers on my property at the time, with the addition that I was doing.
Independently of my experience, my cousin's husband contacted Metal Roofing Systems about doing their roof and I ended up providing the reference! I highly recommend them.
