This La Quinta turned out to not only be my home for a week during Hurricane Katrina but my life saver. We booked the rooms on line though a hotel finding web site and when we arrived we found out they didn't get our reservations. They made room for the 6 of us plus our dog and they saved us from sleeping on the street. During the week we were treated like royalty and they helped us with any request we had. The rooms are beautiful and they come furnished with all the amenities you need for a day or any length of time. I highly recommend visiting them next time you are traveling though Texas.
