My girlfriend and I were en route to her folks in the heart of Wisconsin from Chicago. We planned on stopping at the Brat Stop for lunch, but her car starting having a coughing fit with the Check Engine light on just as we were getting close to 75th. We pulled off to the rest area to reassess the situation and found Hoffman Auto on yelp close by. Not only did these extremely nice people accept our walk-in emergency at mid day, but they had a shuttle van to drop us off at the Brat Stop while they took care of our car. The problem was diagnosed, a new Cam Sensor was ordered, delivered, installed, and we were back on the road in four hours. At the time we went there, Hoffman had only been open a year. The place was clean, the people were friendly and approachable, and the cost was affordable. We could not have had a better experience considering our circumstances. Thanks Hoffman.
